mlearning doesn't have to be ad hoc learning

July 14, 2012

The following slideshow supported my presentation at mLearnCon 2012, in San Jose. The purpose of the presentation was to try and develop a framework for inclusion of mobile learning with structured syllabi.

Mobile learning is transformative! A teacher in your pocket!

However, there is integration of the mobile modality into education and then there is just shoveling content onto phones. The former will more effectively promote learning.

This presentation offers insights on how to integrate mobile learning into teaching and study contexts in a manner deeper than just "current product, but on a phone."

mLearning doesn't have to be ad hoc learning from Rod Gammon

This presentation was delivered while I was employed at Cambridge University Press, who generously supported the trip.
